The joint Jordanian-Omani exercise "Tiger 16" concluded today, Tuesday, at the Special Forces and Counterterrorism Training Wing of Prince Hashem bin Al Hussein School for Special Forces Training. The exercise was conducted by the 71st Special Battalion, with participation from the Omani counterpart, the 75th Sultan’s Special Force. The event was attended by senior staff officers, including Brigadier General Salem bin Said bin Surour, Deputy Commander of the Sultan’s Special Force, and the Commander of King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces.The exercise included activities such as breaching built-up areas, sniper shooting, helicopter fast-roping, and open-field shooting. Participants demonstrated high precision and skill throughout the various training events.It’s also part of training plans aimed at strengthening cooperation between the JAF and the friendly countries through joint planning and execution of operational missions to address various potential security threats.
