In implementation of directives issued by His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Jordan Armed Forces, in coordination with the Civil Defense Directorate, dispatched two aircraft, firefighting vehicles, and specialized response teams today to support efforts in extinguishing wildfires across multiple regions in Syria.JAF deployed two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from RJAF, equipped with advanced technical systems and manned by specialized crews, to reinforce civil defense units operating in the affected areas. The mission aims to suppress active fire zones and contain their spread, in order to protect lives and property.Additionally, the Civil Defense Directorate dispatched fully equipped firefighting vehicles designed to operate in rugged terrain and forested areas. The teams included personnel specialized in fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical response.
