An officer at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces stated that the Northern Military Region thwarted an infiltration attempt on one of its northern fronts within its area of responsibility on Tuesday.The officer explained that an individual was detected attempting to illegally cross the border. Rules of engagement were applied, the individual was apprehended, and subsequently referred to the competent authorities.He stressed that JAF are operating with full strength and resolve, employing all available capabilities to counter such activities and prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling, in order to safeguard the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
