JAF represented by the Military Consumer Corporation, signed a cooperation agreement on Sunday with Orange Jordan, aimed at supporting military personnel and providing new benefits through the reissuance of the "Comrades-in-Arms" discount card, which will be linked to the Orange Money digital wallet. The agreement was signed on behalf of JAF by Brigadier General Mohammad Khalil Al-Hadid, Director of the Military Consumer Corporation, and on behalf of Orange Jordan by its CEO and Chairman of Orange Money, ENG. Philippe Mansour. Brig. Gen. Al-Hadid said that the agreement falls within the framework of serving the corporation’s clientele, both active-duty and retired personnel of the armed forces and security agencies. He emphasized that the initiative reflects the principles of governance and its role in supporting the nation’s advancement and institutional efficiency, in addition to streamlining the process of obtaining the card and enabling beneficiaries to access digital financial services. In turn, ENG. Philippe Mansour praised the MCC’s role in supporting military personnel and facilitating services for them. He noted that the reissuance of the free "Comrades-in-Arms" card for Orange Money users will provide real added value to beneficiaries, simplify their daily transactions, and expand their access to secure and reliable digital payment services. According to the agreement, the reissued discount card will be linked to the Orange Money wallet and provided free of charge to both new and existing users from the targeted group, without the need for additional applications or procedures. For current users holding previous cards, their existing cards will remain valid and operational until the new "Comrades-in-Arms" cards are distributed according to a structured monthly schedule. The new Visa "Comrades-in-Arms" card will grant holders discounts on purchases at MCC outlets, in addition to other benefits that will be announced at a later stage. This initiative comes as a reflection of the Royal Directives emphasizing the importance of caring for both active and retired military personnel. It also reaffirms the MCC’s role, in cooperation with Orange Jordan, in delivering innovative solutions that contribute to enhancing the level of services provided to this national segment.
