Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef AL-Huneiti, on Monday, patronized the graduation ceremony of the fourth cohort of officers enrolled in the bridging program at the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Technical University College for Aviation Sciences. Graduates earned bachelor’s degrees in Aviation Sciences, Air Traffic and Navigation Sciences, and candidates in Aviation Management. The ceremony, attended by RJAF Commander, the Dean of the College, and senior military officers, also marked the graduation of a new class from the Professional Diploma in Defense Resource Management Program. The Dean of the College commended the graduates for their dedication and achievement, stating that the college’s latest milestones reflect its vision of continuous modernization and development, both academically and practically. He highlighted the college’s recent admission to the Association of Arab Universities and its implementation of Arab University Ranking standards, aimed at improving educational quality, research, innovation, and international collaboration. He added that the college is now a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Training Center under the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, enabling it to qualify technicians and engineers for B1.1/B2 maintenance licenses, thus supporting the Royal Air Force and the broader labor market. The college has also launched a postgraduate department, beginning with its master’s program in human and defense resources management. At the end of the ceremony, Maj. Gen. AL-Huneiti presented certificates and commendations to the graduates. In a related event, Maj. Gen. AL-Huneiti inaugurated the new School for Flight Instructors, representing a qualitative leap in training Jordanian aviation instructors to global standards. The school aims to enhance training quality using advanced curricula, thereby improving competencies and fostering collaboration with institutions involved in military pilot training. Maj. Gen. AL-Huneiti wrote a message in the school’s guestbook, expressing his best wishes for the success of this new educational center. The Jordan Armed Forces continue to advance a comprehensive strategy focused on modernizing capabilities in vital disciplines, ensuring personnel possess cutting-edge skills to bolster national security and reinforce Jordan’s regional defense role.
