A delegation of accredited military attachés to the Kingdom, residing in Amman, along with their families, visited the Baptism Site of Christ (Al-Maghtas) today, Thursday. The delegation listened to an explanation from the Baptism Site Commission’s guide about the site's nature and symbolism as a historical heritage. They were briefed on the most prominent historical relics at the site and appreciated the role of the Kingdom and the Baptism Site Commission in preserving this historical legacy. At the end of the visit, the military attachés expressed their gratitude to the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army for providing them the opportunity to visit this historical and religious site.
