A delegation from the local community in Khan Yunis visited today, Wednesday, the Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/5, where they were received by the force commander and the hospital director.

During the visit, the delegation listened to a detailed explanation about the medical and humanitarian services provided by the hospital to the local residents, and the role played by the administrative, medical, and nursing staff in alleviating the suffering of the wounded and injured from the people of Gaza.

The delegation members praised the efforts led by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting the people of Gaza. They expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the field hospital staff, considering it a symbol of Jordanian solidarity with the Palestinian people, and commended the free healthcare services benefiting thousands of patients daily.

For his part, the Commander of the Jordanian Field Hospital force affirmed Jordan's commitment to continue providing medical and humanitarian support to the people of Gaza. He pointed out that the hospital continues to receive patients and provide necessary healthcare to the local community, based on Jordan’s deep-rooted values and principles toward the Palestinian people. He emphasized that these efforts are in line with the royal directives aimed at supporting the Palestinian in the challenging circumstances they are facing.

This visit comes as part of enhancing cooperation and communication between the field hospital and the local community, which contributes to maximizing the benefit of the medical services provided to the residents of Gaza.
