In continuation of the efforts made by the medical teams at the Jordanian Field Hospital in South Gaza/4 to support and assist the people of Gaza, and as part of the "Restoring Hope" initiative, 161 prosthetic limbs have been fitted since the launch of the initiative for individuals who lost their limbs during the ongoing conflict in the strip.An orthopedic specialist stated, "The hospital staff has successfully fitted 161 prosthetics, the latest of which was done today for a young girl who suffered an amputation above the wrist of her right hand. The case was treated, and a cosmetic prosthetic limb was fitted for the girl."The child's family expressed their deep gratitude for the efforts of the medical teams at the hospital, thanking Jordan’s leadership under His Majesty King Abdullah II for standing with the Palestinian people and supporting their just cause.It is worth noting that the "Restoring Hope" initiative was launched under royal directives to support amputees by providing prosthetic limbs for those in need, regardless of age, within a record time, allowing them to resume their normal lives.
