The Assistant Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Operations and Training, Brigadier General Abdullah Shdeifat,on Thursday, bid farewell to the Jordanian Rapid Deployment Force Mali/2, which is participating in the United Nations mission (MINUSMA), at the Peacekeeping Forces Gathering Center, in the presence of the Director of Military Operations, Brigadier General Hassan Al-Shanatouh. Brigadier General Shdeifat gave a speech in which he said, "The participation of the Jordanian Armed Forces in the peacekeeping forces came as a result of the bright image and the level of professionalism of the sons of the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, in the belief of Jordan and its Hashemite leadership in the important humanitarian role played by the United Nations in spreading security and peace in All over the world, we hope that you will be, as His Majesty, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, King Abdullah II, sees you, preserving the reputation of Jordan and the Arab Army, which is spotless among nations". The Assistant for Operations and Training added that the Jordanian Armed Forces have the confidence of the United Nations and a high level of efficiency, readiness and professionalism in performing the tasks and duties entrusted to them in peacekeeping operations, through a series of participations that have contributed to enhancing their good reputation, stressing the importance of working hard and sincerity and applying the instructions of the Armed Forces and the United Nations. At the end of the speech, Brigadier General Shdeifat conveyed to the ranks of the force the kind greetings of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, pointing out the need to work in a team spirit to maintain their security and safety. The first batch of the Jordanian Rapid Deployment Force, Mali/2, will leave next Thursday, January 20, 2022, heading to the mission land.
