The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army Eastern Military Region foiled, at dawn on Friday along its front, an attempt to smuggle narcotics carried by electronically guided balloons.Border Guard units detected the attempt through surveillance, engaged it, and downed its payload inside Jordanian territory in coordination with the military security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized items were transferred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures.
