Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti on Thursday patronized, at the General Headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, the ceremony honoring formations and units that won the Chairman’s Cup across various military tests and activities for 2025.

Maj. Gen. Al-Hunaiti affirmed that this achievement reflects the advanced level reached by the Armed Forces’ formations and units as a result of specialized training and sustained effort. He noted that the recognition serves as an incentive to continue the path of development and excellence, and to further entrench the values of professionalism, belonging, and responsibility in the performance of duty, leading to the highest levels of operational readiness and efficiency.

The Chairman conveyed the greetings and congratulations of King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, stressing the importance of continued capability development and the enhancement of training and qualification programs to elevate readiness and execute missions with competence and distinction.

The ceremony, attended by a number of senior Armed Forces officers, reflects the Royal directives aimed at modernizing and developing the Armed Forces and strengthening their institutional framework to enable them to fulfill their duties in defending the homeland and safeguarding its achievements.
