Crown Prince visits National Service training center

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Wednesday visited the National Service training center at Shweier Military Camp, to review the progress of its training programs.

During the visit, His Royal Highness observed National Service recruits taking part in field training exercises, and emphasized the importance of the program in developing the character of young Jordanians around discipline, responsibility, and a sense of belonging, noting how the program’s impact will extend to all aspects of their daily lives after they conclude their training.

The Crown Prince highlighted the importance of utilizing the National Service’s theoretical tracks, which cover financial literacy, civic engagement, media and technology awareness, in addition to vocational education and training aligned with labor market needs.

During the visit, His Royal Highness was briefed on the phases of basic training conducted at the center, which aim to prepare participants for the physical and mental demands of military service.

The Crown Prince toured the training center’s facilities, and was briefed on its training fields and the equipment used, expressing appreciation for the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army in implementing the National Service training program at the highest standards of professionalism.
