The National Company for Employment and Training signed a cooperation agreement with Imdad Furniture and Smart Furniture Manufacturing, aimed at implementing a specialized vocational training program in furniture carpentry under the employment-linked training model, in line with labor market requirements and the needs of the modern industrial sector.The agreement was signed on behalf of NET by its Director General, Brigadier General Ashraf Olaimat, and on behalf of Imdad Furniture and Smart Furniture Manufacturing by its Chief Executive Officer, Sultan Al-Maaytah.The cooperation seeks to develop the vocational training ecosystem and link it directly to employment pathways by applying the employment-linked training model, which enables trainees to gain hands-on experience within a real work environment. This approach contributes to developing specialized professional skills, enhancing competency levels, and aligning training outputs with labor market needs.Employment opportunities will be provided to a number of trainees upon completion of the training requirements, in accordance with Imdad’s needs and the nature of available job opportunities, thereby enhancing job stability and translating the employment-linked training concept into practical outcomes.Brigadier General Ashraf Olaimat stated that the agreement represents a practical model for linking training with employment and aligns with the company’s approach to preparing qualified professional cadres that meet the needs of productive sectors.
