The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmad Al-Hunaiti, met on Monday at the General Command with the French Chief of the Armed Forces Staff, General Thierry Burkhard, and the accompanying delegation.An official military reception ceremony was held for the visiting general, during which he reviewed the guard of honor lined up in his honor.Major General Al-Hunaiti and the guest discussed the latest regional and international developments, as well as avenues of cooperation and coordination in joint military training, exchange of expertise, and combined exercises. They also reviewed ways to enhance bilateral relations to serve the interests of the armed forces of both friendly countries.Major General Al-Hunaiti and the visiting delegation were briefed on military presentations highlighting key updates and developments within the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, along with future plans aimed at enhancing readiness and operational efficiency.The meeting was attended by the Commander of French forces deployed in the Indian Ocean region, the French Military Attaché in Amman, and a number of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army.
