Today, Sunday, the Commandant of the Royal Jordanian National Defense College (RJNDC) inaugurated National Strategic Planning Program No. (1), with the participation of representatives from various ministries and government institutions.The program, which spans two phases throughout the year, aims to introduce the methodology of strategic planning and provide an understanding of the Jordanian national security system and crisis management. It targets mid-level government leaders, such as directors of departments within ministries and government institutions, ensuring continuity in learning and gradual application of the concepts.This program is implemented in line with His Majesty’s Royal visions and pursuant to the directives of the General Command of the Armed Forces, aiming to enhance communication between the National Defense College and ministries and national institutions, build strategic partnerships, and establish a structured communication mechanism to address current, emerging, and future issues related to national security, strategic planning, and state and crisis management.The Commandant of the National Defense College emphasized the importance of such programs in reinforcing the concept of national security, fostering a shared understanding among state institution representatives, and familiarizing them with decision-making mechanisms and the foundations for developing specialized strategies based on strategic analysis, forward thinking, and foresight to achieve national objectives.It is worth noting that the National Defense College prepares leadership personnel from various state sectors, both military and civilian, through the study and analysis of key elements affecting national security, educating leaders on security concepts and state strategies, as well as conducting strategic studies on issues related to national security under current and future conditions.
