President of the Jordanian Judicial Council Visits Directorate of Military Justice

President of the Jordanian Judicial Council and Chief Justice of the Court of Cassation, Judge Mahmoud Al-Ababneh, accompanied by several Council members, visited the Directorate of Military Justice on Monday. He was received by Director of Military Judiciary and State Security Court Prosecutor General, Brigadier Military Judge Ahmad Talat Shahaltouq.

During the visit, discussions were held on several issues related to joint judicial work between the two bodies. Future plans aimed at improving the work environment within the Military Judiciary Directorate and maintaining its institutional efficiency and professionalism were also reviewed.

Judge Al-Ababneh emphasized the strategic role played by the Directorate of Military Justice in upholding the principles of justice and protecting rights. He highlighted the importance of supporting judicial institutions with the necessary resources, training programs, and judicial courses to facilitate their work and ensure swift justice, thereby improving the quality of judicial services and reinforcing public trust in the justice system.

At the end, Brigadier Judge Shahaltouq praised the efforts of the Jordanian Judicial Council in supporting the justice process and strengthening the rule of law. He affirmed the Directorate’s continued commitment to advancing judicial work in a manner that serves the public interest and contributes to national security and stability.
