Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, inaugurated today, Tuesday, the new Operations Room at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Rapid Intervention Brigade, where he was received by the Brigade Commander.Major General Al-Huneiti was briefed by the Brigade Commander on the advanced capabilities of the newly established Operations Room, which has been equipped with cutting edge systems and technologies to enhance the unit’s operational readiness and effectiveness. The room features direct aerial reconnaissance systems from aircraft, field sites, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), in addition to the military Geoportal System (EJAF), which integrates geospatial data with operational information to produce accurate situational awareness.The briefing also highlighted the modern communications system that enables direct linkage with units and sectors at various levels, thereby strengthening command-and-control functions and supporting timely and accurate decision-making.The inauguration of the Operations Room comes in line with the directives of the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop field units and provide an advanced environment for planning, coordination, and operational follow-up, ensuring comprehensive and precise coverage of various tactical operations.During the visit, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff also met with officers and personnel participating in training at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) in Louisiana, USA, conveying to them the greetings and pride of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces for their professionalism and dedication.The visit was attended by a number of senior Jordan Armed Forces officers, as well as the Director of the UK Integrated Security Fund, representatives of the Fund, and the UK Defense Attaché in Amman.
