On Monday, the Royal Jordanian National Defense College launched the Leadership and Administrative Qualification Program for Physicians, organized annually as part of the college’s parallel academic programs for various state sectors. The event was attended by the Commander of the National Defense College.The program aims to qualify a group of physicians from the Medical Services Directorate in leadership skills, management, strategic planning, and risk management.Spanning two weeks, the program provides participants with practical leadership skills and expertise. Key topics covered include national security and its fundamental concepts, challenges and threats faced, elements of state power, the art of leadership and strategic management, strategic planning concepts, communication skills, among other subjects supporting national security concepts.Notably, the National Defense College focuses on preparing leadership personnel from diverse state sectors—both military and civilian—through studying and analyzing key factors influencing national security. It also qualifies selected officers from JAF and fraternal countries to assume leadership positions, in addition to preparing various state leaders in the fields of national security and state strategy.
