On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, JAF evacuated the ninth group of children from the Gaza Strip, as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" humanitarian initiative aimed at supporting Palestinian people and mitigating their humanitarian suffering.This latest cohort included 15 child patients and 43 accompanying family members. All patients are being transferred to hospitals across Jordan to receive medical care. Their arrival and reception were coordinated with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO).Since the initiative launched on March 4, 2025, Jordan has received a total of 437 individuals, comprising 134 patients and 303 family companions, in multiple land and air evacuations.The medical evacuation efforts are conducted under Royal directives, underscoring Jordan’s unwavering commitment to supporting Palestinians in Gaza.
