The Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza / Detachment 82 has extended a water supply line to provide surrounding residential areas with clean drinking water, delivering a daily average of 12,000 liters. The initiative benefits over 8,000 civilians and internally displaced persons, aiming to alleviate the severe shortage of potable water in the Gaza Strip.

The hospital’s commanding officer stated that the water line was installed in accordance with technical and health standards to ensure both continuous flow and water safety. He confirmed that all water supplies undergo rigorous laboratory testing by relevant authorities in Gaza to verify their suitability for human consumption.
