Brig. Gen. Al-Saraira emphasized the importance of strengthening the vocational and technical training ecosystem, which is a key pillar in building the capabilities of Jordanian youth and enhancing their readiness for the job market. He noted that this initiative reflects the national direction toward institutional integration to maximize developmental impact in promising economic areas like Aqaba. Brig. Gen. Alimat said: “This step reflects NET’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the vocational training framework in the Kingdom and providing a modern training environment that equips youth with market-relevant skills. This is a key factor in the success and sustainability of this initiative.” In the same vein, Mr. Safadi remarked: “This initiative is a crucial move toward building an integrated vocational and technical training system that addresses contemporary challenges and labor market requirements, while opening new horizons for youth to access real employment opportunities. It is expected to have a tangible impact on training, employment, and empowerment outcomes.” Eng. Al-Gharaibeh added: “The Advanced Vocational Training College contributes to training youth in a way that ensures a highly skilled labor force capable of adapting and responding to ever-changing labor market needs. Our goal is to make vocational and technical education in Jordan more expansive and inclusive, thereby creating job opportunities and boosting national economic development.” This initiative aligns with the Royal Vision of empowering Jordanian youth and enhancing their technical and vocational capabilities.
