The Jordanian Field Hospital/82 carried out a blood donation campaign in northern Gaza, coinciding with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s 79th Independence Day celebrations. The campaign is part of the hospital’s ongoing humanitarian initiatives aimed at strengthening community solidarity and supporting local blood banks amid the challenging healthcare conditions and the constant need for blood supplies to ensure the continuity of essential medical services. The Commander of Field Hospital/82 stated that the campaign reflects the broader humanitarian and relief mission carried out by JAF in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that this initiative embodies the spirit of solidarity and loyalty displayed by members of the armed forces toward their leadership and homeland, particularly on this national occasion. The campaign witnessed wide participation from the hospital’s medical and administrative staff, who expressed pride in commemorating Independence Day through an act that contributes directly to saving lives and strengthening the readiness of the healthcare system in Gaza. Throughout the month of May, the field hospital provided medical care to over 3,000 patients. Services included minor and major surgeries, chronic disease follow-ups, laboratory testing, and emergency care through fully equipped and specialized clinics, ensuring high-quality medical support for patients in need.
