JAF Organizes the 2025 Cross-Country Running Championship

The Directorate of Military Sports Federation, in cooperation with the Jordanian Marathon Association, organized the 2025 Armed Forces Cross-Country Championship today, Wednesday, in the Dead Sea area. The event witnessed the participation of elite male and female service members from various formations and units of the Jordan Armed Forces, and was attended by a number of senior JAF officers.

The results of the championship were as follows:

- In the 5 km Officers Race, First Place (Individual): Anas Abdullah Awwad from the Northern Military Zone team.

- In the 12 km Enlisted Personnel Race, First Place (Individual): Oglah Tayseer Ghazi from the Central Military Zone.

- In the 5 km Enlisted Personnel Race, First Place (Individual): Saleh Osama Ibrahim from the Central Military Zone team.

- In the 5 km Female Non-Commissioned Officers and Recruits Race, First Place (Individual): Rahaf Hussein Ahmad from the Northern Military Zone team.

The Central Military Zone secured first place in the team category for the 5 km Officers Race, the 12km Enlisted Personnel Race, and the 5km Enlisted Personnel Race.

At the conclusion of the championship, trophies and medals were presented to the winners in recognition of their outstanding performance and active participation, amidst an atmosphere of pride and admiration for the sportsmanship and military discipline demonstrated by the participants.
