The Assistant for Administration and Manpower bid farewell today, Thursday, to the 21st military Umrah delegation for families at Prince Hassan College for Islamic Sciences. The delegation is heading to the holy lands to perform Umrah this year.During the farewell ceremony, the Assistant stated: “The Armed Forces have been committed each year to sending Hajj and Umrah delegations as part of the Hashemite benevolence towards the soldiers of the chosen army and their families. Organizing these delegations is one of the noble traditions that the General Command of the Armed Forces has been keen to uphold regularly.”For his part, the Mufti of the Armed Forces stated: “Our Arab Army has always been committed to organizing such Hajj and Umrah delegations. This journey to the holy lands is a blessed spiritual journey, where the pilgrims will be honored as guests of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in his blissed city and will have the privilege of offering prayers and sending salutations upon him.”It is worth noting that the Umrah delegation included officers and personnel from various formations and units of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, along with their families.
