Under royal directives, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity instructed the Royal Air Force to send two aid planes, loaded with equipment and food, and logistical aid, to the Syrian Arab Republic and the Turkish Republic, to relieve the injured and the families of the victims of the earthquake that struck several areas there.The two planes took off carrying tents to the Turkish Republic, which were donated by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in coordination with the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.It is noteworthy that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan sent till now nine planes to Syria and Turkey loaded with rescue equipment, tents, logistical and medical materials, relief and food aid, Jordanian rescuers from the international search and rescue team, and medical staff from the Directorate of Royal Medical Services.
