In continuation of the general leadership’s approach in following up on modernization and development projects, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Tuesday, checked on the progress of the project for the new headquarters of the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF).Huneiti toured various parts of the project and listened to a briefing by the Directorate of Housing Establishment & Military Works.Major General Al-Hunaiti praised the role of the Directorate of Housing Establishment & Military Works in implementing the project, and the efforts and professionalism in work to achieve the highest levels of efficiency, modernity and excellence.Also on Tuesday, Huneiti visited the Military Intelligence Directorate, where its director briefed the army chief on its role and duties. At the end of the visit, Huneiti conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of JAF, praising the directorate’s distinguished role in realizing national security.
