Prince El Hassan College of Islamic Sciences celebrated today, Thursday, the graduation of a number of courses, with the participation of officers, non-commissioned officers and individuals from different ranks of the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army and the security services, in the presence of the college’s dean, Lt. Col. Imam Atef Qudah.The dean of the college said in his speech: "The armed forces always strive to raise the level and efficiency of imams and guides, by holding specialized courses in the college, as part of the great efforts made by the armed forces to preserve the tolerant Islamic Sharia, and instilling the Islamic faith in the souls and implanting values and morals among its affiliates.The judges stressed that the armed forces always strive to preserve and fortify its members from the extremist ideology, by holding courses to combat extremist ideology and intellectual immunization, and to provide participants with an adequate culture to meet the argument with argument and thought with thought.The ceremony included the graduation of a number of courses (Advanced Combating Intellectual Extremism/26, Hajj Guides Course/4, and Advanced Maqamat Course/3).The curriculum of the courses dealt with various topics in explaining the ideology of extremist groups, responding to extremists’ suspicions with evidence and proof, immunizing our armed forces personnel from extremist ideology, and on the disciplined methodology in teaching jurisprudence, belief, interpretation, hadith and proper behavior, and scientific responses on issues of governance, provisions of response, heresy, names and attributes. The Hajj curriculum was explained to members of the armed forces to be applied in performing the rites of Hajj.At the end of the ceremony, the dean of the college distributed certificates to the graduates.
