Introduction:

According to Article (4) of the Military Law, Military Credit Fund (MCF) aims at encouraging members of the Jordan Armed Forces and security services to save and accumulate money to achieve a better standard of living and assist them in financing and investing. Furthermore, MCF offers loans and finance services on favorable terms that conform to the rules of Islamic Murabaha (a non-interest-bearing loan), to secure a standard of living that meets the aspirations of the members’ families for a decent life. MCF is a financial institution, established with a capital of JD140 million, that aims at providing financing windows for members of the Armed Forces and security services at discounted rates. The Fund does not seek profit, but rather aims to cover business costs through Murabaha rates.
