In the presence of the Commander of the Royal Jordanian Air Force and the Mufti of the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Royal Jordanian Air Force Command commemorated the anniversary of the Prophet's migration on Sunday.The Royal Anthem kicked off the ceremony, and then there was the recitation of enticing verses from the Holy Quran.The Mufti of the Armed Forces stated: “The migration of Prophet Mohammad from Mecca to Medina is an important and decisive event in the history of the Islamic call, as it was the beginning of a great renaissance that humanity has never known the likes of. Here we stand on this blessed day, sensing the majesty of the time, place, and event. As for the time, it is the month of Allah, Muharram, and as for the place, it is the environs of the Holy House of Jerusalem, which Allah has blessed in the Holy Quran. As for the event, it is a great memory that has dawned upon us, and it is the memory of the noble Prophet’s migration, which changed the course of history in the Islamic approach and the spread of Islam.”He continued, saying, "The Prophet's migration anniversary heralds the arrival of a long-awaited absentee, a dear one whose meeting we crave to deeply desire, and a cherished who is missed. This occasion allows us to reflect on happy memories that are revived as the years pass. It also gives Muslims pride in their religion and love for our Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.Several officers, non-commissioned officers, and Royal Air Force personnel attended the ceremony, which featured religious hymns and accolades of the Prophet on this particular occasion.
