The Commander of the Joint Task Force of the Eager Lion 2024 exercise visited the 48th Princess Alia Mechanized Brigade, one of the military Brigades in the Northern Military Zone, in addition to teams from the various participating armies, today, Thursday. He also attended several tactical exercises in the designated training field, Tuba Palace. These visits were part of the inspection tours conducted to monitor the operational progress of the exercise.These exercises included joint patrols, sniper shooting with various weapons and ranges, 81 mm mortar shooting training, engineering training, tank shooting, and 25 mm cannon shooting for the (YPR 765) infantry fighting vehicle, in addition to shooting with various light and medium weapons, first aid training, Anti-drones training, and a direct and indirect fire call exercise. These exercises were carried out jointly with different countries.Notably, the objective of the Eager Lion exercise is to increase readiness to meet the different difficulties offered by the operating environment and to train the participating forces to deal with potential threats.
