Today, Thursday, the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force (CJSOTF), the Counter-Terrorism Forces, and the participating teams, conducted several drills at the King Abdullah II Special Forces Training Center (KASOTC), with the participation of various countries, as part of the Eager Lion 2024 exercise.The main objective of these drills is to harmonize concepts and share experiences in the security and counterterrorism domains among the participating troops.Teams from Jordan, France, America, Italy, Kosovo, Cyprus, Lebanon, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia participated in a variety of counterterrorism and smuggling-related activities and exercises during the drills, including training special forces in search and rescue operations and hostage rescue operations from a hijacked aircraft.Notably, the eleventh edition of the Eager Lion exercise seeks to improve combat readiness among participating troops and the armed forces to counteract better current and future terrorist threats, as well as to train on search and rescue operations.
