On Thursday, the first international scientific day for injury and accident research was held by the Injury and Accident Unit in conjunction with the Royal Medical Services Department of Surgery, in the presence of the Director General of the Royal Medical Services, on the fringes of the "Eager Lion" exercise.

"These scientific events, through which the Royal Medical Services are provided, represent a clear-cut Hashemite vision that always seeks to reach the horizons of knowledge in these fields to be in the ranks of developed countries," stated the Director General of the Royal Medical Services.

To ensure that the Royal Medical Services continues to be a wellspring of generosity and kindness, he emphasized the necessity of moving forward with organizing scientific days and workshops that would improve the caliber of care given in our hospitals.

"We are meeting today to share the amazing achievements and progress in the field of injuries and accidents, to enhance cooperation and exchange of knowledge among the brightest minds in the field of health care through this scientific day, which will address a wide range of basic topics in injuries and accidents, including a group from prominent international and local speakers and experts who will share their knowledge and experiences," stated the head of the Department of Surgery in his speech. 

It is notable that a large number of international lecturers from the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as several lecturers from Jordanian public universities who specialize in scientific research, attended the scientific day. Additionally, a wide range of personnel from the Royal Medical Services of various categories were present.
