The Army Chief, Major General Yusuf Ahmed Al-Haniti, affirmed that the General Command of the Armed Forces mobilizes all its capabilities and capacities to defend the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's borders. He pointed out that the armed forces are resolute in preventing infiltration and smuggling operations and in confronting all forms of threats along the borders, and any efforts aimed at undermining the nation's security, terrorizing its citizens, and destabilizing its stability.

This came during his visit today, Tuesday, to the Third Royal Border Guard Battalion, one of the units of the Central Military Region. He was received by the commander of the region, Brigadier General Talal Ali Al-Ghubain.

Major General Al-Haniti, in the presence of several senior officers of the armed forces, was briefed by the battalion commander regarding its tasks and duties, the progress of operational, training, and logistical matters, future plans, and efforts to achieve the highest levels of competence and professionalism.

The Chief of the Joint Staff commended the significant efforts exerted by the dedicated personnel of the Border Guard units in various areas of their responsibilities in protecting the nation's borders. He also commended their high readiness and morale.
