Today, Thursday, a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) visited the Jordanian Field Hospital South of Gaza /7, where they were received by the Hospital Force Commander and the Hospital Director.The delegation received a detailed briefing on the hospital’s operations, the available medical specialties, and the nature of the medical and therapeutic services provided, reflecting the significant attention given to meeting the needs of citizens in the Gaza Strip.The visiting delegation praised the Jordanian medical and relief efforts in strengthening the healthcare sector, highlighting the “Restoring Hope” initiative in the amputee support unit, exclusively available at the Jordanian Field Hospital South of Gaza, as well as the hospital’s reception of critical emergency cases requiring immediate surgical intervention and specialized procedures not available in local hospitals.
