Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, inaugurated today, Wednesday, the Flight Simulation Building and the Bell 505 hangar at King Hussein Air College, in the presence of the Commander of the Royal Jordanian Air Force and a number of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces.Maj. Gen. Al-Huneiti toured the facilities of the Flight Simulation Building and listened to a briefing by the Commander of the 5th Squadron, who explained the nature and systems of the simulation training, including devices that replicate the aircraft environment, cockpit, and flight experience, used to train pilots efficiently while saving time and effort. He also toured the Bell 505 hangar, which represents a qualitative addition for the Air Force crews, aimed at supporting both basic and advanced helicopter flight training operations.Maj. Gen. Al-Huneiti praised the high level of readiness of the Royal Jordanian Air Force personnel, commending their significant efforts to keep pace with modern advancements in aviation of all types, in order to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and combat readiness to safeguard the Kingdom’s skies and preserve the security of the homeland and safety of its citizens.In the same context, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff patronized the graduation of the courses: UAV Operations/1, Public Safety/2, and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/1, for the cadets of the 54th Pilot Candidate Course and the Technical Course at Prince Faisal Technical College, both conducted at King Hussein Air College.At the conclusion of the ceremony, which was attended by the graduates’ families, Major General Al-Huneiti presented awards to the honorees.
