Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti on Tuesday discussed aspects of joint military cooperation with Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy Admiral Naveed Ashraf and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting held at the General Command of Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), Al-Huneiti and the visiting delegation went over ways to develop bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two countries' armed forces.

Al-Huneiti stressed the importance of orchestrating international efforts to achieve world peace and security, emphasizing the need to strengthen the "strategic" Jordanian-Pakistani partnership.

Admiral Ashraf expressed appreciation for Jordan's efforts in supporting the region's security and stability, commending the JAF's "advanced" level.

The Pakistani Ambassador and Defense Attaché in Amman, and a number of senior JAF officers attended the meeting.
