Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef AL-Huneiti on Sunday met with Commander of the New Zealand Defense Force Air Marshal Tony Davies and his accompanying delegation.Major General Al-Hunaiti discussed with General Davis the latest developments on the regional and international arenas, aspects of joint cooperation and coordination, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations to serve the interests of the armed forces in both countries.Attendees were also briefed on the development and modernization of JAF’s weapon systems, equipment, and operational capabilities, in line with evolving regional challenges.Davies emphasized the importance of continued coordination with the JAF, particularly in joint training and knowledge exchange, and expressed appreciation for the strong relations between the two armies.The New Zealand Defense Attaché in Amman and several senior JAF officers attended the meeting.
