Today, Sunday, 16 new helicopters participated in the humanitarian airlift, departing from King Abdullah II Air Base, including two aircraft from the friendly nation of Italy.The participating aircraft transported over 20 tons of humanitarian and relief aid, bringing the total aid delivered to the Gaza Strip to approximately 122 tons. This operation was conducted in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and several allied and friendly nations. With this mission, the total number of helicopters deployed by the Jordan Armed Forces has reached 102, including 11 Italian aircraft.
