Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, received today, Tuesday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Colorado National Guard, Major General Laura Clellan, and the accompanying delegation. Al-Hunaiti discussed with the delegation aspects of military coordination and cooperation as well as strategies to improve bilateral ties for the benefit of the two friendly countries' armed forces. Al-Hunaiti emphasized the depth of the relationship and the scope of continued collaboration in utilizing mutual expertise in a variety of areas to enhancing the capabilities of the Jordan Armed Forces. In turn, the Commander-in-Chief of the Colorado National Guard in the United States commended the modernization and development process in the Jordan Armed Forces, in line with the nature of the challenges facing the region at various levels. Several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces - the Arab Army attended the meeting.
