Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, welcomed the Commander of the Japanese Air Support Forces Lieutenant General Takehiro Morita and the delegation that accompanied him today, Thursday.

Al-Hunaiti and Morita discussed joint cooperation to serve the interests of the armed forces between the two friendly armies, especially in the field of training and exchange of expertise, in addition to the most recent developments in the region, the events occurring, and the prospects for joint cooperation.

Morita commended the role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in achieving security and stability in the region.

Several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces attended the meeting.
