The statue stands on a rectangular stone base and in its western façade the names of four martyrs from the area are engraved: (Major: Atta Hussein Issa of the School of Military Intelligence martyred in Haiti 13/2010, Captain Mohammed Amin Abdullah of the 12th Royal Tank Battalion martyred in Palestine in the Martyrs Triangle on 7/6/2010 1967, Lieutenant Pilot of the Fighter Saeed Mohammed Abdul Abadi of the Royal Air Force was martyred in the training area of Halabat on 23 May 2007, soldier Mohammed Yusuf Makazi of the Princess Basma Battalion martyred in the War of Attrition on 11 February 1966.
