From the moment the
Great Arab Revolt began, the aim was to liberate the land and man, create an
independent Arab state, restore Arab sovereignty, and revive authentic Arab
nationalism. The Arabs believed in
these goals, worked to achieve them, and this was the essence of the aims of
the Great Arab Revolt, and one of the strategic objectives achieved was: .1The formation of the
Arab government. .2The formation of the
first Arab Shura (consultancy) Council. Highlighting and affirming
the Arab right through the global presence. In addition to this is the tactical
success that is represented as follows: .1The Great Arab Revolt
succeeded in entering and occupying Aqaba on July 6, 1917, which was a shift in
the course of the Great Arab Revolt. .2 On
January 25, 1918, Turkish forces were defeated in a strong battle in Al-Tafila. .3 The
siege around Maan prevented the participation of large Turkish forces in World
War I in the northern battlefield and Palestine. .4
Helped moving towards Al-Azraq and planning for the occupation of Damascus and
entering it on November 2, 1918; and the declaration of its first Arab state
led by Prince Faisal bin Hussein, who proceeded in the complete constitutional
steps of the declaration of the Syrian Arabia Kingdom, which took place on
March 8th, 1920. The first Arab flag hoisted over Damascus for the first time
in more than four centuries, in Al-Marja Square, where the Free Arabs were
executed. .5 The
Great Arab Revolt is the set of strategic objectives concerning Arab identity,
sovereignty, and Arab nationalism. And it is a set of correspondence that
reaches the level of international treaties for the adoption of Arab rights and
the clarification of the borders. And it is the set of laws, regulations, and
instructions. And it is the administrative and organizational structure that
shows the Arabs as a nation with an ancient civilization, experience, and
institutional. And it is a group of victories and successes in the military
field or in mobilizing Arabs and supporting the objectives of the revolt. .6 The
Arab Revolt is the message we carry in Jordan today. And we defend its
principles because it is an authentic Arab Revolt led by a pure Hashemite who
descends from the prophet’s household. The Jordanians and Arab people believed
in Hashemites leadership, patriotism, and true Arabism because of the hope they
constitute for the nation in general, and Jordanians in particular, so that
Jordan will be first with the vision of “We are all Jordan" as a support
for its Arab nation.
