The Army Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, performed the Eid Al-Fitr prayer with the personnel of the King Hussein bin Ali Brigade, in the 20 Tariq bin Ziyad Battalion. The audience, including Major General Al-Hunaiti, listened to the Armed Forces Mufti's sermon on Eid. He began by saying, "Eid is one of the visible rituals of Islam and a joy from Allah for completing fasting, praying, giving alms, and all other acts of obedience, and in the month of fasting we lived the happiness of worship." He continued by saying that having family ties is a great blessing, as is obeying the Most Gracious, blessings in life and livelihood, and one of the keys to success in life. The Special Royal Guard Command's Muhammadiyah Guard Group was visited by the Army Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The purpose of the two visits was to wish the Jordanian Armed Forces chief of staff a happy Eid Al-Fitr. When Major General Al-Hunaiti met with the members of the two units, he congratulated them on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr and expressed His Majesty the Supreme Commander's love and greetings. He also praised the junior members of the JAF for their outstanding efforts in carrying out their assigned duties in their various positions. His excellency emphasized the need for civilians to receive support and aid in all forms and under all conditions, and he urged members of the armed forces to stand unified against anybody who dared to jeopardize the security and stability of the country. Relatedly, the Army Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff paid a visit to the families of the former chiefs of staff and wished them a happy Eid Al-Fitr. He did this on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The purpose of these visits is to express gratitude to all military personnel on behalf of His Majesty the Supreme Commander, as well as to the former Chiefs of Staff for their excellent contributions that aided in the formation of the Mustafa Arab Army.
