The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneity, received on Sunday, in his office at the General Headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, the Turkish Ambassador to Amman, Mr. Yakup Caymazoglu.During the meeting, Major General Al-Huneity discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation in the defense fields, in addition to reviewing the latest regional and international developments.For his part, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting security and peace in the region, stressing the importance of continuing joint cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of the armed forces of both countries.The meeting was attended by the Turkish Military Attaché in Amman and a number of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces.
