Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, met today, Thursday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Amman, Attila Kali, at the General Command headquarters.

During the meeting, Major General Al-Hnaity discussed with the ambassador various aspects of military cooperation and coordination between the armed forces of both countries, as well as means to strengthen bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest in a way that serves the interests of the armed forces in both friendly nations.

For his part, the Hungarian ambassador expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in promoting regional and international security and stability. He also commended the high level of professionalism and readiness of the Jordan Armed Forces.

The meeting was attended by several senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army.
