Today, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneity, met with Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Defence and for Sustainability and the Environment, Zaqy Mohamad, along with his accompanying delegation.

Major General Al-Huneity discussed with the visiting delegation the frameworks of military cooperation between the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army and the Singapore Ministry of Defence, as well as ways to enhance coordination across various shared fields that contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of both friendly armies.

The meeting also addressed mechanisms for implementing joint humanitarian operations led by the Jordan Armed Forces, in cooperation with neighboring and friendly countries, to support those affected in the Gaza Strip.

For his part, the Singaporean Senior Minister of State praised the significant efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting regional security and stability, commending as well the humanitarian and relief role of the Jordan Armed Forces.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, along with members of the accompanying delegation.
