Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneity, on Wednesday, met in his office at the General Headquarters with the Commander of the Colorado National Guard, Major General Laura Clellan, and her accompanying delegation.

Major General Al-Huneity and the guest reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation and prospects for enhancing military partnerships between the two sides in the areas of training, qualification, and exchange of expertise, in addition to ways of coordinating joint logistical support.

Both sides affirmed the importance of continuing existing cooperation programs in various training fields and joint military exercises, in a manner that enhances the efficiency and readiness of the armed forces in the two friendly countries and contributes to supporting regional and international security and stability.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, as well as the U.S. Defense Attaché in Amman.
