The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, inspected today, Saturday, the frontlines of the 10th Royal Border Guard Battalion and the 12th Royal Border Guard Battalion, both under the 2nd Border Guard Brigade—one of the formations of the Northern Military Zone. This visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to assess the readiness of the formations and units of the armed forces. He was received by the Zone’s commander.Maj. Gen. AL-Huneiti listened to briefings from the relevant commanders regarding operational and logistical matters, as well as the efforts undertaken to protect the border frontier and the Zone’s role in maintaining the security and stability of the Kingdom. He commended the great efforts of the brave members of the Border Guard units across their various posts and their role in defending the homeland, protecting its resources, and confronting anyone who seeks to undermine its security and stability.Maj. AL-Huneiti affirmed that the reinforcement of border fronts with specialized forces is ongoing to ensure the fulfillment of the armed forces' mission in defending the Kingdom's borders.During his tour, Maj.
