Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti met German Ambassador to Jordan Bertram von Moltke and the accompanying delegation.

The two sides discussed prospects to advance cooperation and coordination, as well as means to bolster relations to serve the two countries' armed forces.

They also discussed the several prospects of common interest in various military and defense fields that link the two friendly countries, commending the role played by the German government in supporting many projects and initiatives implemented by the Jordan Armed Forces, especially those related to the humanitarian and health aspects and its role in establishing security and stability in the region.

The German Defense Attaché and several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces attended the meeting.
