Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, received Algerian Ambassador to Amman Abdulkarim Behha on Tuesday at the General Command headquarters.

During the meeting, attended by senior Armed Forces officers, Major General Huneiti and Ambassador Behha discussed strengthening bilateral relations, with a focus on enhancing cooperation in training, rehabilitation, and the exchange of military expertise.

Huneiti stressed the importance of the strategic partnership, emphasizing its role in advancing the interests of the Armed Forces in both countries.

The Algerian ambassador expressed appreciation for the pivotal role played by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in promoting regional security and stability. He also commended the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army for its ongoing modernization and development.
